Cam Talbot Absolutely Robs Backstrom

New York Ranger’s goalie Cam Talbot helped power his side to a 3-1 win over rivals Washington last night – moving The Blueshirts in to 1st place in the Metropolitan Division along the way.

Talbot made 27 saves on the night, including this awesome glove save on Nicklas Backstrom:


27-year old Talbot has been outstanding since regular starter Henrik Lundqvist was placed on the injured reserve in early February, and is now 15-6-4 for the season with a .922 save percentage and 2.28 GAA in 27 games.
